How to start Project life

Project life is a fun and an easy project to do..
It is simply a documentation of your own life..
and that I think is not difficult at all.

I am gonna share with you how I put together my 'project life' project..
To some it may be an exhausting process cause I started from scratch and scraps.
But to some it may be an exciting journey especially when it challenges your creative side
and your time.

Project life should be an interesting adventure into your own world and your own time.
This is the second year that I stubbornly did my own version of project life.
Its an A4 version.
And it is something that I can call my own! :)
I am till this day proud of completing my own 'project life'
ahaha!

So the first step of project life is not to over think about starting this
Like when you want to start it, how you're gonna do this..and bla bla bla..

I think its great if you can start at the beginning of the year..
but its even better if you can start at anytime of the year..and just record the
everyday/weekly/monthly moments of your life..
Heck! its your own project!

Like me..now I believe for most project lifers, they would be in Week 12
But Im still lagging behind at week 6!
Im slow but I know surely..
I will reach there..

Second, there should Not be any stress when you are doing this!
Scrapbooking is meant to be a stress free agent! hahaha! :)

Thirdly, just start already! hehe..

So my idea of documentation is to have a functional file where I can keep
all my pages together..
I opt for a file I bought at a bookstore
I chose pink..coz the colour is cute..
Its A4 in size and its big enough to store all my crap..oops I meant scraps of page protector!
I know I would be scrapping a lot this year..
I mean its already in March and I have about 140 pics to share! :)
I know Im crazy!
My photos are mostly from Instagram

The papers/embellishments/stickers that I choose to use..they are from all over..
I don't need to be specified on this..
I know I have tonnes of patterned papers, embellishments stickers and what not
So this is the time to use them.. ;)

I also start using my stamps..
I am a rare stamp person!
but I really love those from My Favorite Things
*I will share this on a separate post*

For this particular project..
I started polishing my typewriter so that I can get a quick typewritten quote if I wanted to
You can always set up your printer
and whenever you want to print something..its just there.. ;)

Now the most important part is the page protector..
The plastic, the base, the foundation behind project life!

Ok! So where do I get them from?
Actually from all over..

For a start, I know I want to have different sizes of page protectors on my project life file..
I want to create a fun element to my documentation process.
So for many weeks in 2011 while out shopping or running errands
I went for a treasure hunt around Singapore..
Im glad I did that..
Look at what I found.. :)
And some of them are really cheap! :)

Some of the stuff I got off the internet
I will share with you now..
Do take note all my page protectors are archival safe!
Do check whether it can fit your project life binders/file!
